Dr. Karuna Ahuja, MD

Dr. Karuna Ahuja is informed, caring, professional and knows how to diagnose issues and communicate clearly her plan of treatment. I honestly felt she really took the extra time to figure things out and explain things to me.

Bedside manner cool at best. No live person has ever taken my phone call, I either have to wait for a call or call back myself.

I have never seen her on time, and frequently wait for long periods. Her bedside manner is cool at best.

I went to see Dr Ahuja to get my sleep issues diagnosed. I did the home sleep study and was told to return the equipment to the Lk Mary office, no one mentioned the office was rented to another doctor on those days, who refused to take the equipment. I was lucky, as I walked away I noticed the office next door had one of the home sleep study kits sitting on their counter, it turned out they accept the equipment for them on the days they are out. Sure would have been nice if someone had mentioned it. THEN an entire month goes by before I can get a follow-up to learn that my oxygen levels get dangerously low at night, then ANOTHER month goes by and I still haven't gotten a call from the supplier who was supposed to get me the equipment. I called multiple times and was told it would be taken care of, still no resolution. Stay away from these folks, the dr is very nice and seems knowledgeable, I can't say the same about her staff.

I met Dr K Ahuja approx 11 years ago while in the ER. My primary doctor called her in for me. I have been her patient since. She is excellent at explaining your issues and she cares about her patients. Recently I was hospitalized with Respiratory arrest, Pulmonary Edema, mild heart attack and sepsis. She and Dr. Ratan Ahuja were there every step of the way. I guess you could say I owe them my life.

I have been a patient for several years and she is very professional and really has the patient wellbeing front and center.

Dr. Ahuja approaches medical problems from all angles. I have been seeing her for several years for sleep apnea problems. My problem areas have improved dramatically under her care. She will authorize any tests that are needed to help her patients. She will also refer patients to any specialists that can help in solving medical problems. I have been told several times to call after testing and she would work me into the schedule. She did exactly that. She is very professional and puts patients at ease. I highly recommend her as a doctor who gets results.

Dr Ahuja is a very caring Doctor. She listened to my concern's and spent alot of time explaining different options in my health care. Her staff made me feel comfortable from the minute I walked through the door. Her receptionist remembered my name on my second visit and her nurse was very warm and made me feel instantly at ease. I recommend Dr Ahuja to anyone needing a wonderful caring Pulmonary doctor. A+.
