Dr. Kasey Kaichi Li, MD

There are not descriptive enough, positive words to say about Dr. Li. Dr. Li is a caring and concerned doctor. He is also a brilliant surgeon. Before surgery, he goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. Post-surgery he follows up with phone calls to see how I was doing. I have been seeing Dr. Li for 11 years, and his staff (all of them) are incredibly kind and caring. They follow up with phone calls immediately. I feel like family every time I have an office visit.

Like most of the other patients/reviewers who have posted here, I interviewed (tortured) every other sleep surgeon in the Bay Area (and nationally). At the end of the day, I went with Dr. Li because of his impeccable reputation. In fact, I saw my new pulmonologist today about recurrent bronchitis, and knowing that he was a sleep medicine guy as well, mentioned my recent maxillary advancement. His response was "who did your surgery? - Dr. Li, I hear he is the guy to go to for sleep surgery. There you have it.

I can relate to all the positive things his patients have said about him on his web site. He is truly an exceptional doctor with an amazing desire to see all go well for his patients.

I went to Dr. Li for jaw surgery after an exhaustive research online and confirmation from my sleep doctor. I was told Dr. Li is the go-to guy for maxillomandibular advancement surgery and I am very, very happy with the result. Anyone considering surgery for sleep apnea should get an opinion from him. He will not steer you wrong.

I had a very difficult situation that would have prevented me from having dental implants supporting a fixed bridge. Dr. Barney Lim of Menlo Park referred me to Dr. Kasey Li to add bone so that I could have implants. Dr. Li is an excellent surgeon and added the bone that I needed. I had no pain after the surgery. Dr. Lim placed the implants and now I can eat just like my original natural teeth, but better.

There are many American surgeons who treat patients with sleep apnea but no more than three others in the U.S. can come close in knowledge and experience to Dr. Li. In addition to being a brilliant, skilled and highly trained sleep surgeon, he is a kind and compassionate person. I am grateful for having received excellent medical care from him.
