Dr Sherafgan spent quality time with me, actively listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions, made phone calls to follow up weeks after surgery. Her patients come first. I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Sherafgan removed my gallbladder but she made me feel so comfortable. She told me upfront that I was a high risk patient and needed close monitoring and it might not be easy because of my prior surgerirs and I was worried that I would end up having a big scar and open surgery but she did an excellent job and did it with small incisions. I felt confident and relaxed in her hands. She ihas excellent skills and is very caring and excellent bedside manners. Thank you Dr. Sherafgan.

I can’t say enough how much we love this doctor....she put in my feeding tube and she took the time to answer all my questions and all my families questions before and after the surgery, she always responds to my visiting nurse when she has questions...we love her.

On Saturday, as a nurse caring for a patient of another doctor for whom she is taking weekend call, I called her for instructions. From the moment she answered the phone, she did nothing but literally scream at me. She would not allow me to explain why I called and would not assist me in any way. I finally hung up on her. If any of my family, friends, or other patients ever need a surgeon, I will definitely recommend that they find another doctor.

After being assured that the removal of a mass in my abdomen was merely a benign lipoma, FOUR MONTHS later I was finally told it was cancer-liposarcoma. Since finding out, I go to MD Anderson every 6 months. The cancer still remains connected to my muscle. It may enlarge, in which I will require a major surgery, let alone the fact that I would be fighting cancer. It should never have taken 4 months for the doctor to tell me.

Went to see her for an issue that needed immediate attention. She worked on me right away with very successful results. She is very professional, friendly, and explains the situation as best as can be expected. Follow-up visits were thorough. Would definitely recommend her.

She has excellent bedside manners and helped me to understand the disease and surgical plan with explanations. There were no surprises after how she explained it. She also referred me to good oncologist and I am completely satisfied with my care. She gave me hope and a beautiful recovery. No scar and I am cancer free. Thank you Dr. Sherafgan.
