Dr. Kassondra Suzanne Grzankowski, MD

I am so grateful to God for answering my prayers when he sent me to Dr. Grzankowski, truly a surgeon beyond what I could ever hope for or imagine! After being diagnosed with a 28 cm ovarian cyst (a very rare “giant” cyst due to its enormous size!), I desperately needed to quickly find a surgeon who could handle such a thing. On a quest to find the most experienced and highly rated surgeon, I researched the background and reviews of all the gynecological oncologists in southcentral Texas. Dr. Grzankowski was the highest rated and most experienced, so I called Dr. G’s staff (Veronica and Kelly) to let them know my situation. They expedited insurance approval and booked me an appointment within a week. From the first meeting, Dr. G’s compassion and warmth, coupled with her depth of knowledge and positive attitude, made me feel completely at ease during a very stressful time. She scheduled my surgery for the following week! This alone saved me weeks of anxiety! Once I was admitted into… the hospital, it became clear that Dr. G is deeply respected by her peers—every nurse and hospital staff member I encountered spoke so highly of her, which gave me even more peace of mind. She visited me every day while there and made sure all my needs were met. My surgery was extremely successful, and except for the first day, I only needed OTC Tylenol or Advil for a few days following. I could not have asked for a better experience or a more skilled, compassionate doctor! I will never, ever forget what she did for me!

I cannot say enough about Dr ”G”, she’s truly amazing, a breath of fresh air! I’m so grateful I found her. I also want to give kudos to her office staff, specifically Priscilla, she has been wonderful through the whole process & always a phone calI away. I came to Dr G looking for a 2nd opinion & a new Oncologist. The minute I met her, she exuded personality! Dr G was so caring, kind, compassionate, & had a positive attitude. She was VERY thorough with her assessment, drawings (yes she drew pictures as she was explained what my previous biopsy reports showed) & answered all of my questions. After she reviewed my past medical history & previous procedures, etc., she went over ALL of my options (not just so quick to say a hysterectomy was my ONLY option) like my previous doctor. I appreciated that Dr G. took her time giving her professional opinion & explaining in depth other options . She also made it VERY clear, ultimately it’s my decision & will support whatever decision I make.

She was absolutely wonderful during and after procedure I would highly recommend her!
