Kate is absolutely wonderful! My mental health has improved considerably since I started having appointments with her. One of the aspects I appreciate the most is that she actively listens and takes my input into consideration before making any final decisions. Don't get me wrong, she obviously will not just prescribe anything. But she will clearly explain why she is making each decision rather than just outright saying no. I have encountered the latter with other psychiatrists I have seen. I also love how she personally responds to my messages, even though I know she is very busy. I am so glad to have her in my corner. I can't say it enough, she is a fantastic provider.

She help me so much! My sleep is restored. No crying anymore my mood is level. Shes very kind easy to open up to her.

I finally found a psychiatric specialist who could help me. Kate truly listened and explained everything in a way that made sense. I had awful sleep combined with depression and anxiety. Nothing really made a difference with the other doctors. She changed my medications in a thoughtful manner. After a short time, my sleep and energy had improved, and I was not waking up feeling depressed. I am capable of navigating my stressful days now. She really put me on the right path. Thankful is an understatement.

I was in a bad place for a couple years with crippling anxiety, panic attacks, and depression. My regular meetings with Kate and the medication changes we made during that time were one of the only things that helped me to move forward in pursuit of my goals. Now that my life challenges have improved and I secured the career of my dreams, I have been able to decrease my medications and I only need to see her occasionally. I am very thankful for the expertise, support, and care she has given me over the years. Her help played a significant role in the reason I was able to make progress and reach new heights.

I’ve worked with other providers in the past and I have to say that Kate has been one of the best that I’ve worked with and I look forward to our continued work together! She’s very compassionate and very knowledgeable, she is also extremely professional, and you can tell she really cares about her patients. She understands me and the issues that I have, and she never judges. I feel very safe and in the space with her and I have already seen a lot of improvement since our initial appointment a few weeks ago. I thought I’d never be able to find someone that understands me and I am so glad that I finally did.

I first saw Dr. Graen because I was concerned about the mood symptoms I was battling for several years. Before my first appointment I was trying to keep what I was going through hidden from everyone. I didn't even want to talk to my family because of the shame and fear. I was trying to use supplements and other coping mechanisms, which did not help. When I opened up to her about my symptoms, I felt so relieved to finally be getting professional psychiatric help. In an honest and compassionate manner, she diagnosed me and explained the details of my diagnosis and treatment. She let me know that treatment plans are individualized and that it would take some time to find the most effective treatment for me, but I am so thankful that I trusted her expertise and judgment on my journey toward improved mental health. I now feel fully capable of pursuing my goals and talents, and I am accomplishing more in school than I could in the past. I highly recommend her if you are in need of… psychiatric help.
