Hello, my name is Kate Holsclaw. I'm excited to meet you and start our therapy work together!
My ideal client is someone who is struggling and needs to find some hope. I don't think that anyone wants to stay stuck, but sometimes they don't have a roadmap to get unstuck. My ideal client is looking for a roadmap and I can help them find one. I like to help people who have messy histories and have fear about therapy because I can help them understand that therapy doesn't have to be scary.
I like working with people where they are. i don't like to push someone to do more than they can, but I also like to allow space for them to have their emotions as needed. I really enjoy using humor during therapy. Laughter is healing.
Outside of my therapy sessions, I love to cook and explore different cultures through food.
