I will follow Dr. Thoma to another state if she leaves Iowa after her fellowship - that's how much I believe in her and her bedside manner. I was terrified of visiting the gynocologist for years, and after getting checked out by Dr. Thoma, my fears have been alleviated. She is incredible, and made me feel good for going to see her when I did, rather than bad for not going at all for so long.

I have found Dr. Thoma to be a very personable doctor. When she comes into the room she's their for me and my family. She spends quality time with my concerns and always follows up on previous concerns. She keeps in mind my personality and emotional well-being when deciding if other tests or services will help relieve my stress levels even if medically they would be beneficial but not necessary (e.g., first trimester ultrasound). Dr. Thoma is also very good at responding to my emails when I have questions and concerns that don't require an office visit. I'm happy to have her as my primary doctor.
