Dr. Katerina-Elena C Ananiades, MD

I am a patient of Dr. Ananiades and I find her to be personable and also accurate in her assessments. She is very thorough.

I recently returned to Kaiser Permanente (a patient since 1998) after switching back from another carrier. Not having a primary doctor after being gone for 10 years, I had to be reassigned to a new doctor. Since being gone from Kaiser, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer stage 2, underwent 16 rounds of chemo at City of Hope, followed by a double mastectomy, reconstructive surgery and losing my oncologist due to loss of insurance. I am feeling overwhelmed and have been suffering with pain. So after going back and forth with the appointment center on getting a referral to see a new oncologist, they stick me with Dr. Ananiades who does not having any compassion, personality, lacking a bed side manner and needless to say just RUDE. She never asked about my cancer history, how long I have been suffering from fibromyalgia, etc. She spent a total of 20 minutes with me after giving me the referral I needed, prescribed a pain med and said "Wait here" never coming back to say "Good-bye, Take… Care, Good Luck" I had my daughter with me and she looked at me and said "Well she was rude, I hope you don't plan on seeing her again!" I am applaud that Kaiser has a staff member like this woman representing Kaiser.

Hi Everyone I have seen this dr for some time now and she really does not have a care in the world. She told me that i needed a back massage to work out my back being tight. I even called her to tell her that it is more then that i can feel it. So I was a part time resident of Nevada and California. With all my constant telling her something is wrong I end up in a ER in las vegas with a tennis ball tumor in my head. which is still there but anytime i ask her anything she brushes off on another doctor.

The dr takes her time and ask every question imaginable to make sure you are getting the right and proper care.

She is compassionate and delivers high quality care. She is very pleasant and professional. Her staff are also very friendly.

This doctor is arrogant, dismissive, and has the bedside manner of a 13 year old teenager. Be prepared to navigate though her endless stream of contradictions and dismissals. Such a waist of my time, I could have diagnosed and treated myself better on webmd.

She loves PPO and do nothing else for others. Kaiser permanent loves her for do nothing unless you die.
