Dr. Katharine Muser Garnier, MD

My family and I have been going to Dr Garnier for years. She listens to what you have to say about your concerns of a health problem, she also sends you to great specialists. She saved my husbands life last week with his regular checkup, thank you so much Dr. Garnier, you are the best!

I saw this Dr. quite a few years ago after my OBGYN notices a lump on my neck. My regular primary Dr was unavailable, so I had to see Dr. Garnier. When I saw her I explained what my OBGYN said about a lump on my neck she felt, she also ordered an ultrasound. In the meantime before I got the ultrasound I was Dr. Garnier she felt my neck and saw I had blood work done at my OBGYN office to check my TSH level. When I saw her she felt my neck and said it was nothing to worry about. She reassured my mother and I that I could not possibly have thyroid cancer, and I was too young to have cancer. Well guess what after an abnormal ultrasound then biopsy it came back malignant. I went over the bridge to Philadelphia had a total thyroidectomy with neck dissection where they took dozens of lymph nodes too. After the pathology report it was in fact that I HAD THYROID CANCER! I have gone through radiation and two surgeries dozens of scans biopsies and blood work. I wouldn't trust Dr. Garnier… with my life even if I was even on my death bed. This woman swore to me not to worry that I did not have cancer, when in fact I do have cancer, and most likely did have it for quite a few years before being diagnosed.

On 3 separate occasions 3 calls to this Dr. were not returned. On 2 of the occurrences I had to follow up by calling and not the Dr. following up by returning my calls. After the 3rd occurrence I am now leaving the practices as it is unacceptable and I am not willing to accept a reason as my health is important to me.
