Katherine Addison, MD, joined the Novant Health family after completing a pediatric residency in South Carolina, when she moved to Charlotte to care for hospitalized babies and children as a pediatric inpatient specialist. She cared for children with acute and complex medical needs and while she still serves those complex needs a, Dr. Addison loves the opportunity to provide primary care services. She has special interests in social development, sleep hygiene and sibling relationships. Outside of work, Dr. Addison is a busy mom and can be found on the soccer field, at the pool or riding bikes with her husband, Scott, and their three daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, playing the piano, gardening and traveling.
