Dr. Katherine Bowman, AuD

Katherine Bowman, AuD, is an audiologist at UT Health East Texas Physicians at Three Lakes in Tyler. She strives to ensure that a patient's hearing needs are met, and that they also feel seen and heard through high-quality care. Dr. Bowman is intrigued by all aspects of audiology, but has a particular interest in diagnostics and rehabilitation. With an initial interest in deaf education, Dr. Bowman likes to say she discovered audiology by wonderful accident. "I ended up in a speech language/audiology major and by year three was in awe of just how much goes on in the tiny spaces that our auditory and vestibular systems have to work in. The symmetry and beauty of the human ear and its parts are never boring and still leave me in wonder 20 years later.” When not in the office, she loves to play and listen to all kinds of music and reads a great deal of history books.
