I love Dr. Binns and her staff.

I was reading through the reviews and could not believe all of the negative experiences! I myself have been going to her since 2011 and have never had an issue. My initial appointment was just for a checkup so I scheduled it a month out. I went to her when I was sick a year later and got right in the next day. Also, I had shingles and did not even know it, I set an appointment for side pain. I was scheduled for 2 days out. I have never had a complaint. The nurses are friendly, and always helpful. Dr Binns has wonderful bedside manner and has a way of making you feel like you are her top priority!

Dr binns is a great doctor and very friendly but it is really difficult getting test results back.

I was a patient of Dr. Binns and though she seemed to be a nice doctor, her staff and appointment scheduling are extremely lacking. Today I called to schedule an appt since I believe I have shingles. You are supposed to get in for treatment right away as it may reduce the duration of the event and the pain level. Unfortunately I was told I haven't seen here since 2011. My comment was that everytime I have called for an appt when I've been sick I have had to wait over 24 hours to get in. Typically it has been at least 2 days. It was 8:15 a.m. and the very rude receptionist stated she could fit me in tomorrow. I am tired of never being able to get for an appointment with a doctor that is still taking on new patients. Seems she should take care of the one's that she has already.

Staff is rude and sarcastic. Appts are canceled if you are not precisely on time, I arrived a few minutes late because I was getting sick in the parking lot, When I arrived I asked for a few minutes to compose myself, their reply was "you are late you need to reschedule", No one even asked why I was late or if I was ok though I was obviously sick. Funny thing is when you are on time, you have to wait 30 - 40 minutes to see her. Also they say they stay open late on Thursday, but you can never schedule later that 4:30. Dr. Binns is aware of her staff, but I believe the reason she does nothing is that she approves of their behavior. Definitely finding a new dr.

I have no insurance. I asked dr about a swollen area on my hand and if it was normal. she said no. she also said if you had insurance I would send you to a specialist. How should that be interpreted? I am looking for a different doctor.

Dr binns takes her time and has a terrific bedside manner. She is an excellent doctor.

Trying to schedule a first patient appointment is a nightmare. The office staff is not helpful and they seem to be more interested in doing their own thing rather than helping. Tried to schedule an appointment three times and didn't realize that I had to arrive 30 minutes early, so getting there 10 minutes early was not acceptable and I was sent home. I must have missed the request to arrive 30 minutes early, but most doctors allow for some sway, but not this staff.

I know that there is another review stating the staff is slow at returning calls and getting refills isn't fast. However, as with every office there are rules on getting them. I know this office has a policy of giving 2 BUSINESS days for regular meds and 4 days for controlled meds.I personally love the staff. They welcome you every time you walk in te door and make you feel very much at home. This you can not get at just any Dr's office.
