Dr. Kate Dugan, MD

Kate Dugan, MD, MPH, is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist. Dr. Dugan provides care for patients with endometrial, cervical, ovarian, vaginal and vulvar cancers, as well as treatment for ovarian cysts, pelvic masses, cervical and vulvar dysplasia and other complex gynecologic conditions. She welcomes patients needing high-quality cancer care and treats each patient with kindness and respect. Dr. Dugan completed an undergraduate degree in political science and a Master of Public Health in epidemiology at Columbia University. She felt drawn to medicine during her time working in international public health, developing programs to offer HIV care and treatment services throughout Africa and went on to earn her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Dugan completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale University School of Medicine, where she served as the academic chief resident. She then completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology with Johns …Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Dugan is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology.

In her free time, Dr. Dugan enjoys hiking, yoga, traveling to new places and learning to ski.
