Dr. Katherine Waldrop Grelle, MD

The office is disorganized and unprofessional. Once the receptionist forgot to put my name in so after an hour, I asked why I was the only one left in the waiting room and flippantly she said it was her mistake. Sometimes you'll sit in a room for an hour just waiting to be seen or to go in for bloodwork. Meanwhile, several (white) women are just hanging out in the back eating and chatting. I never get to actually see Dr. Grelle so why even go there? Results from blood work and referrals to specialists take much longer than other doctors I have had. I absolutely would not recommend this practice.

Dr Grelle is rarely there to see you as a patient. I always had to wait at least 30 mins. Before seeing anyone. They also mess up your appointments and then have to reschedule.

No one answers, no one returns calls. Read the Google reviews and trust them.

Dr. Grelle and Hollie are the absolute best in Tuscaloosa!! They will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of every time. The level of service I have experienced has been exceptional. I have never had a doctor go above and beyond the way Dr. Grelle and Hollie have. I did not know how I was going to continue planning my wedding, travel out of the country for work and support my mom while my dad was ill. They adjusted and went out of their way to take care of me. I am forever grateful. I am blessed to have a wonderful doctor and nurse who have outstanding bedside service and care for their patients. I truly look forward to many more years with the two of them.

I have to admit I have not actually seen Dr. Grelle But try to establish myself as a new patient with her. During the time of trying to do this I went through the loss of my mother, father and sister in an 18 month period of time. I canceled several appointments due to grieving issues but when I finally made an appointment to keep I was called and told that Dr. really could not manage my healthcare and to look for another doctor. Her practice manager Beth Luker-Moss was by far THE rudest person I’ve ever spoken with. She wouldn’t even allow me to speak and kept interrupting as I tried. She didn’t want to hear why I canceled and basically lied to me telling me that the doctor had reviewed my new patient papers, which I had never sent. The receptionist that made my appointments was incredibly kind and understanding and most of all helpful. I just thought I would put this out there as a warning for those of you with issues. Obviously the office is not understanding and by no means is… it a practice that I or anyone else with disabilities wants or needs!

Even with an appt. we waited for 1 hour. It is impossible to have the nurse return your call even after you leave 2 messages, days later still no return call. Lap person is rude and does not know how to draw the blood without torturing you . Everytime you call the office you never each a person you can talk to , VM every time. Appt. times also not convenient. Horrible waste of time .

Dr Grelle had a great bed side manner. She was very professional and took time to listen also.
