Dr. Katherine A. Jelinek, MD

16 weeks pregnant and my Lapband that I had had issues with for 5 years twisted my stomach. Dr Jelinek did my upper GI scope and followed me throughout my pregnancy after my Lapland was removed. She was GREAT, always straight forward, she addressed all of my concerns, and she knows her stuff. She always treated me with kindness, respect, and empathy. If you want a straight forward great doctor, she is it!

Terrible experience. She has the worst bedside manner. Does not even pretend to care.

Waited for three months for an appointment and was so disappointed. Her bedside manner was the worst I had ever witnessed in my life. She did not care about my eating habits or currently what I was experiencing just said that I needed tests and would require medication. She did not care about my life or me as a person just let’s get these tests done. Never had a worse experience with a dr. Do not waste your time see someone else. She is not kind or caring about your situation. She is the opposite of what I would want for a physician.

From the second the doctor walked in the room she was rude. Never even introduced herself and never even asked me why I was there. Treated me like I was wasting her time at several points during the consult I considered walking out. I will never see her again and would not recommend her to anyone. She has ZERO people skills and has the wrong approach to meeting with new patients.

Dr. Jelinek does excellent surgery. She and her staff are prompt to answer questions or concerns. Highly recommended for colonoscopy procedures.

I had heard from a coworker to go visit Dr. Jelinek, and I could not have been happier. She put my mind at ease and listened to my complaints. She diagnosed me with celiac disease when other doctors had blown me off. I was so glad I went to her!
