Kate is the kind of professional that gets in the trenches of life with you. With her “tool chest” of finely-honed skills she listens and teaches you how to get safely to higher ground. When I went to her I had lost almost everything that was dear to me in my life. Because of betrayals, I barely trusted anyone in my life. She taught me how to stay present. She dialogued with me when I became “stuck” in conflicts with others. She gave me tools for calming myself when my body reacted to stress. She was balanced in giving me professional toughness and empathy when needed. I could go on but to sum it up, she taught me a new way to think. At times, it was like brain surgery but she guided me toward the light of understanding, taught me how to love myself, to take care of myself and speak up for myself in love and respect.
