Dr. Katherine Ward Munt, MD

Extremely disappointed in my experience with this doctor. My appointment felt rushed because she was running a little late. Very little was accomplished from the visit. She took a quick look at my vital signs and just instructed me to go back to specialists I had already seen. She acted like she had no interest in actually exploring or examining what was happening to me and just wanted to move on to the next patient. Eventhough I had come in for new symptoms I was experiencing, she did not seem to be listening to what I was saying. It was a very invalidating experience. Dr. Munt was very dismissive and displayed very little bedside manner in her approach. As other reviewers have mentioned, I also felt talked down to the entire time and I found her demeanor cold. Additionally, she did not follow up with my blood test results in a timely manner, nor did she do so via phone so there was really no personal or human connection there. It took a lot of effort to even get my results from them… before the specialist visit I scheduled because she still hadn't reviewed them. At least she ordered blood tests for me to take to other doctors, I guess. But in the whirlwind of that appointment she didn't take the time to explain what she was ordering when she did so. I had to look online to find out which tests were being done on the blood that I had given. I found it extremely odd that she wanted to reschedule me in two months time with really no reason why. Why wouldn't I just follow up with the specialists instead? I don't really need a middle man for that process if all you are going to do is direct me back to them anyway. Why waste my money? I would not recommend going to Granger Medical Holladay or Dr. Munt. I felt like I was treated like another copay for her pocket (like being in an assembly line of patients) instead of a human being.

I unfortunately have had a plethora of medical issues for the last few years. I moved to SLC 2 1/2 years ago and am disabled. I have 5 doctors all together with all my specialists for various issues. I asked Dr. Munt to be my "quarterback" so that my care is managed by a doctor who has the whole picture. When I read that she enjoys puzzles in her bio, I knew I had my doctor, lol. Some of my issues can be quite puzzling. She not only listens to me, my concerns and medical complaints, she takes the time to explain to me what my health goals should be even with my condition. She makes me feel well cared for and cared about. Which is rare in this day and age. I feel like I am in great hands. Her assistant is top notch as well. She has truly facilitated my health care on more than one occasion. I feel very blessed to have found them.

Dr. Katherine Munt is very knowledgeable and extremely efficient and correctly diagnosed all of my concerns both real and fictional :-)

Dr. Munt has been wonderful and I have been her patient for the past couple of years. My sister referred me, and several of our family members are now her patients, too. She has a quick wit and extensive knowledge; I am always confident in her recommendations and trust her judgment. I am a middle-aged woman and always feel welcome and cared for by both Dr. Munt and her nurse, Lissa. They also have a new office in Holladay that is lovely and comfortable.

Don't know why prior rating was low. This doctor is terrific
