Dr. Nguyen does not have a good follow up. We all know what a good doctor is, and she is not a good doctor. I went to her after going to the ER for a issue. She scheduled a test for me, and then never followed up with results. I called the office for 4 days and every day was told she would get back with me, Finally she did call and did not have a plan to figure out what was wrong with me. She just blew me off and did not offer any help to make me better. I lost 4 weeks total with her waiting to see how I could get better, Now I have to start over with a new doctor to see what is going on. Do not waste your time with this doctor, if you really need help.

Billed $1,616.00 for out-of-network services. First, let me say that we love Dr. Nguyen. The attention she gives you, along with her professionalism, is beyond reproach. That said, we paid way more than we should have for a procedure and associated lab testing. To begin with, we called both Dr. Nguyen's office and our insurance carrier ahead of time to verify coverage and were told by both sources that the procedure would be covered. The colonoscopy at Physicians Endoscopy Center was indeed covered, however, all the associated lab testing was NOT. When we called Dr. Nguyen's office about the lack of coverage, the response from the billing department was, "the insurance company should just cover it". Unfortunately, insurance won't cover it because unknown to us, services outside of our approved network were brought in and utilized. After hours of phone calls, arguing with insurance, labs, and Dr's office, I was able to get the lab to reduce the cost from $1,616.00 to… $654.00. It's obvious that the Dr's office didn't follow through with verifying coverage for the lab work, or was lax in following through to verify coverage. Either way, we are out $654 that we didn't need to pay to begin with.

Katherine has a very good bed side manor she fixed my bleeding ulcer and has stretched my throat three times. I highly recommend her
