Very kind and professional Dr. Ostapoff saved my life .

Do you know how she told my dad his prognosis???? He’s on a feeding tube and has stage four stomach cancer. When he asked her about upping his feeding so that he can gain some weight and strength for chemo she said, “that’s not going to help, you aren’t going to be around much longer anyway.” I cannot imagine what in the world she’s going practicing medicine. She knocked the wind right out of his sails and almost took the fight right out of him. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone. Dr. Ostapoff, you are a mean person.

Run as fast as you can away from this person!

Being treated for acute appendicitis waiting 5 hours for a scheduled surgery she was the on call surgeon. She arrived an hour later than scheduled surgery and told me I would have to wake until morning as the ER was now backed up. After talking about my health history with her, she doubted that I previously had a tumor removed as she could not see "clip marks" in my ct scan. Being completely disappointed in her I checked my self out and went to another hospital. The same ct scan she looked at showed a mass on the appendix. Immediate surgery was performed and pathology results determined I have Goble Cell cancer. Thanks for nothing Ostapoff.

Dr. Ostapoff did not meet expectation where our mom was concerned. Our mother was diagnosed with gall bladder cancer that spread to her liver and was given a short time with us if she did mor receive chemo. Dr. Ostapoff took her sweet time not getting back in contact with us and my mom was no longer eligible for chemo. Because of Dr. Ostapoff's incompetence the time we were expected to spend with her was cut short all because Dr. Ostapoff did not communicate with us or let us know what was going on until it was beyond too late. To safe face she called the day my mom was admitted to the ER where they told us the year we hoped for was now days all because Dr. Ostapoff couldn't be bothered with what I assumed she felt was a lost cause. I was not impressed. She is incompet and if anyone mentions her name for your treatment or your family's I beg you say no and go somewhere else where they actually care about helping you or your family member stay in this world for as long as you or they… can. Cause you or they won't with her as your oncologist!!!
