Zero stars! Dr. Overton is a complete joke. She doesn’t care to help me or my unborn baby, I was bleeding for 2 weeks straight and she never did a pelvic exam or ultrasound to see if me and my baby are safe. I only found out by going to the ER! Also she doesn’t respect my time. Waited 2 hours to be talked to for 5 minutes about nothing. She’s rude and doesn’t take any of my concerns seriously when it comes to my pregnancy. Worst experience I’ve ever had! Run far away from this women.

This Dr. was very rude. She acts like she knows everything and even if I bring up something about what I've googled, she quickly shuts me down and makes me feel like she's the only that knows everything. Every time I had an appointment, I would wait for an hour in a half.

Doctor was very disoriented, falling, and was going to break my water because she had me confused with another room.

Had a horrible experience with this Dr. I was using her as my OB for 2 appointments. I had Dr. Pang and he was amazing but didnt deliver anymore. So I found a OB that did deliver in tulare. So my 1st appointment with Overton I waited about a hour and a half to see her and all she did was talk about herself instead of focusing on me and my unborn baby. She talked about how she had 15 cases against her in court. Then how the doctors in Hanford doesn't like her because she was black overweight and a women. I tried to explain to her than I had problem in my pregnancy and all she said was "No thats not true dont listen to Dr. Pang" although she didnt even check me. I did in fact have the problems. 2nd appointment was a long wait as well and she came in and raised her voice about for not doing a test and rudley asked if i wanted my baby to die and it sure seemed like it. So after she was done she said "wait here for a next appointment" and walked out the room. I got up and went to the… nearest nurse and told her to tell the Dr. I wont be seeing her anymore. I then went to the front desk and told them what had happened and they had their supervisor call me later that day. Overton told them that I walked out mid of my appointment. So she lied. Was a horrible experience.

I moved to Sac when I was 7 months pregnant. Dr. Overton was the only doctor I could find who was willing to transfer me in at that stage - even though I had 2 other deliveries with zero complications. I have continued to see Dr. Overton for the last 4 years. She is a very down-to-earth and caring doctor. No God complex here - and I appreciate that. She may be a bit on the ultra-cautious side when it comes to follow up visits, but other than that she takes the time to answer your questions and treats you like an intelligent human being. I love her.

My experience with her was not impressive. She mentioned for me not needing to gain weight and keeping off fast food.When it came to labor & del.time she made the comment ..... I thought you were going to go natural! She sat down & sighed & then left the room,then returned within the hour to deliver our girl! That natural comment is not something a woman needs to hear at that particular time.)When our girl came the Dr. went ahead and cut the cord,even though I had told her I wanted my husband to help cut the cord.So disappointing,since we were able to participate with our other two kids cord cutting.

I was very pleased with Dr.Overton, She delivered my grandson, her bedside manner was great. The nurse that helped her Yvonne was super nice and I appreciatet them and all their help. The nursing staff at Methodist hospital was all great. thank you so much for making this experince for my son and his wife lovely.
