Dr. Katherine Ballenger Pasque, MD

I made an appointment 8 months in advance. Four months before my appointment I got a phone call stating the doctor needed to reschedule because she is not working that day. Two months later I received another phone call stating the exact same thing. When rescheduling I even asked for a different month and they stated that she was not going to be around then either. My rescheduled appointments were getting dragged out further and further and I have a condition that needs to be monitored. When I asked why my rescheduled appointments were getting scheduled for weeks later the receptionist told me that she caters to pregnant women. So even though I had made my appointment 8 months in advance - my appointment was getting pushed back further and further because I was not pregnant even though it was the doctor who kept taking off and at this rate if she is ever even there to see her patients. In addition, I told Dr. Pasque that I was not sexually active but during my appointment she… lectured me for 75% of the time about birth control and then did unnecessary testing for sexually transmitted diseases. It was such a waste of time and money for a doctor who does not listen and care about her patients. I will never go back there again.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful woman! Her knowledge, compassion and committment just exceed any expectation or experience I have EVER had! Her thoughtful care during my last pregnancy protected my unborn child during some scary times and helped me to keep my sanity. From annual visits, hospital stays, urgent calls and the birth of my 2 girls, Dr. Pasque has been a God-send! Rarely do you come across a human being let alone a care provider that has the heart, passion and talent that this amazing woman has. If you are looking for an OB/GYN, look no further!

I didn't have a particular doctor in mind when I needed to schedule my first appointment after getting pregnant. The office at East Ann Arbor Health Center assigned me Dr. Pasque. My sister, who also is a doctor at U-M, later told me that Dr. Pasque is one of her favorites! She was so caring, professional, smart and great about answering my list of questions. I felt like she spent adequate time responding and didn't seem rushed.

Dr.Pasque is awesome! I am 8 months pregnant and she has catered to me throughout my entire pregnancy. She is wonderful. I used to see a midwife, but health issues lead me to seek care from an MD. Dr.Pasque has that same personal, caring and intimate relationship that many midwives have with their patients AND a degree in Medicine to match. She is awesome!
