No oversight - no follow-up - no concern. I would look elsewhere - UW ? Harborview? Anywhere but Swedish !

So i went to the ER because I was breaking out into a full body rash. I waited for 3 hours on a cot because Pryde was meandering the halls. Pryde would not listen to the circumstances around my rash and left my room, came back in 30 minutes and told me i had syphilis. The only test she did was a syphilis blood test (WHICH WAS NEGATIVE) and prescribed 2 weeks of heavy amounts of doxycycline. She looked like she was on some kind of drug, her eyes were scary and glazed over and she really wasn't able to hear me. The nurse who walked me out told me never to come to the ER at that time again so I could avoid her -- even the staff thinks she's a terrible doctor. This lady made me severely anxious and overtreated my symptoms, not even suspecting it could be an immunoviral reaction (which it was). The staff at the time all looked embarrassed by the circumstances I was in and by Pryde's performance. NEVER go to Kaiser Permanente between 12am-7am because she'll be there --- ABC is waiting for… you if you do beware and don't listen to doctors who don't listen to you!

She ignored the warnings of the x-ray person that an MRI or a bone probe was needed to find an infection in such a recent case. She did not prescribe ABX on my discharge - when the condition worsened rather than acknowledge a positve Lab result for Staph - the Red Team she supposedly supervised dismissively said "we already saw you" "low suspicion of infection" and denied my admission to First Hill ER - 5 weeks later I faced amputation - like another comment on this site said - I cannot use the amount or depth of foul language I would like to use to describe this person. Don't know how she sleeps at night - and wonder how many have actually died because of her. Hard to know - since the dead can't write reviews on vitals.com

Dr Pryde was kind and considerate. Was very concerned about my pain and comfort. Seems to me the other reviewer was looking for drugs, I didn't want any and they kept asking me if I wanted something for my pain. They checked on me all the time. They called my doctor to see about my history to make sure I got the best possible care. Much better than the care I got at another ER.

Horrible bedside manner, doesn't actually listen to a patient who is in excruciating pain. Gives a diagnoses that even states pain killers are recommneded for the condition she actually diagnoses you with and then refuses to prescribe them. Is prejudiced against overweight people, doesn't listen, doesn't listen, and she really doesn't listen!!!!! Absoulutely would describe her with words that start with the first three letters of the alphabet if that wouldn't be censored!
