Dr. Katherine Schoyer, MD

I really appreciate that Dr. Schoyer took time to address my mental health and made sure I was receiving therapy throughout this process.

This meeting went very very well and she answered every question I had and really made sure I understood what she was saying/explaining

I have been experiencing a problem with pain in my ovaries for a year now. I was referred to Dr. Schoyer because I had heard she was EXCELLENT. Much to my dismay, I was not pleased. I was very disappointed in her bed side manner. I felt as if she was rushing me out and wasnt interested in my problem. My family has a history of infertility after their late 20s. I am turning 30 and very concerned of my child bearing future, especially since i have been experiencing such pain that knocks me off my feet and forces me to curl up into the fetal position. When I told her this in her office her response was....."you should see a therapist".......thank you very much! She had me make an appointment for a follow up in a month....I never went. I have never had a doctor make me feel that way. Maybe she was having an off day, we are all entitled to that. But, the way I felt when i walked out of the office was pure disappointment. :(

I see Dr. Schoyer as my gynecologist. She has an excellent bedside manner and has always helped me with any minor issues I've had. Going to get my annual GYN exam had always been very stressful for me but when I started seeing Dr. Schoyer, I feel at ease. She is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to listen.
