Dr Kathleen Smith treated my father and what a bad experience that was. No compassion and I was very disappointed in her behavior. Glad we found Dr. Neil.

By far Dr. Smith is one of the most genuine, caring doctors I have ever seen. I agree with the post of another former patient, if I knew where Dr. Smith is now that she left Ochsner, I would RUN to make an appointment with her. On an aside, I can understand her leaving. Since Hurricane Katrina, Ochsner has become the worst hospital. I understand why the doctors are leaving, and now with Dr. Smith gone, it is one less reason I have to go to Ochsner Clinic/Hospital.

I seen Dr. Smith after being passed down from another physician since Oschner can't seem to keep any of their doctors from leaving particularly in the sleep clinic. I thought she was warm and friendly. I also liked the fact that she was young and not an old bozo like some of the others I've been to. She's also a psychiatrist as well as a neurologist which was helpful to me. I'm not sure what's up with Oschner's Sleep clinic but they are down to one doctor and I am having trouble getting an appt. and my prescriptions refilled. I wish I knew where Dr.Smith was working cause I would go to her again in a heartbeat.

Dr. Smith was a very caring person, with a great sense of humor. And I like that in a doctor. She was very understanding with me and my condition. As for the sense of humor, more professionals should learn a little lesson in Lighten up. A good doctor can be more affective with a little touch of humor.Id recommend Dr. Smith to anyone.
