Dr. Kathie Allen is a native of Michigan and relocated to Sunny Florida in May 1993. She has been involved in the dental field since 1976. Her introduction to dentistry was working as a Dental Assistant in High School. Her love for dentistry lead to a career in Dental Hygiene for 12 years. In 1990, Kathie received her doctorate from the …University of Detroit. Dr. Allen has been practicing for 18 wonderful years. She is an excellent listener; her caring way immediately puts her patients at ease. Dr. Kathie and her dynamic team enjoy working with our clients to deliver high quality comprehensive & cosmetic dental care in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. In her free time, Kathie enjoys the Florida lifestyle which includes boating, fishing, fitness training and attending local events and the theatre.
Dr. Allen's credentials include a solid educational background in dentistry. She received an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 1981 from Ferris State University in Michigan and worked as a dental hygienist prior to earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1990 from the University of Detroit Mercy. She completed her general practice residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, University Medical Center in Jacksonville. Dr. Allen stays current on the latest advancements and techniques in dentistry by attending numerous continuing education courses and being involved with local study groups.
