Dr. Kathleen Anne Alter, MD

No matter who you talk to in health care they all agree that Dr Alter is one of most compadent and caring Physicians in the area. She spends all the time required to address the health issues and she never rushes during a visit.

dr alter started a personalized-care MDVIP practice in Feb 2014. What a pleasure!same day appt, no waiting, executive physical, & only treatment by doctor-no PA or NP. I even have her cell phone number. A total change from anything you've experienced in a doctor's office five stars!!

I have seen Dr. Alter for a very long time and think she is a great doctor and really takes her time with you. With that said it is not ok to let your patience sit in your waiting room for minimum of 1.5 hrs. When asking how much longer the front desk in VERY rude. Now she wants to charge a fee to have her as your Doctor. No way!

Have been going to Dr. Alter for 25-plus years and feel I have always received excellent care. However, in the last three to four years wait times have grown longer and longer and finally become unbearable Most often they are at least an hour. Today it was an hour and 45 minutes. Also the office staff, most paticularly the front desk, is generally unfriendly. Much as I hate to do it I am changing doctors.

the doctor is thorough ,as well as the P.A. They do listen and answer all questions. However, they seem to change office staff quite frequently. the current staff is not friendly, not people-oriented, and the absolute worse is the waiting room time to get back to the doctor. However, I still recommend her and the PA as the positive outweighs the negatives.
