She frequently requires blood tests some of which are sent to out-of-state labs at considerable expense. She diagnosed my husband with diabetes without doing any tests at all and then handed him a book about the disorder. Our current doctor said that he does not have diabetes. At least twice she had her assistant see me and the assistant provided me with the diagnosis (she even said I am diagnosing you). We were happy to see Dr. Baskett move her practice out of Missoula. And would not recommend her under any circumstances

Additionally, she closed her Missoula office years ago. She also allowed her staff to do exams and follow-ups. After one visit the staff person who I had seen informed me that she was diagnosing my condition and would prescribe the medication. Not recommended.

I've always admired her calm manner & encouragement--even when I didn't always meet my goals. I've never had long wait times & the staff was always friendly.

They will do all kinds of blood tests and make you come several times before they give you the program. Just to make sure to cost the insurance company well. After a month doing all tests, they told me to avoid fat and sugar.

Dr. Baskett is a wonderful Dr who listens to what you are telling her instead of trying to "book treat you". She was approachable and understanding. I went to her after havingmutliple surgerys and having a hard time with my weight gain due to not being mobile for almost 10 months. She understood what i was telling her and offered some great options for me. I am 100% satisfied with her treatment as wll as her office personal. They are very professional. The atmosphere of the Dr and the personal. I would recommend her and her clinic to anyone that is having some frustaration with either weight management or nutrional soundness. I love the people there.
