I had a funny looking growth on my back and it would not go away so I called Dr. Behr's office since my wife goes there. I was able to get in with a month (I had never gone to a dermatologist) and received notice within about a week that I had cancer. They referred me to a surgical oncologist in Santa Monica and I got an appointment within 2 weeks of my call to them. I found the office to be very professional.

Long wait to see Dr. Behr only to be shuffled out as quickly as possible. She is not a listener. I've had four appts and have yet to be given enough time to ask her which treatments I should have to combat aging skin. She always hands you to someone else to sell you some product or procedure.

She acts like you are not even in the room. Literally turns her back on you and starts barking orders at employees like you are not even in the room. Screwed up my Botox and not even an apology. Now looks like damage is permanent. She gets one more chance, if she will not acknowledge her screw up my attorney will handle. Marisa her assistant is to good to be working there. She actually cares about her patients

First of all I had experienced bumper to bumper traffic on Herndon Ave. which wasn't the Drs. fault. When they called me in, they didn't know what I was there for. They hadn't input it into the system last time I was there. Then the practitioner decided she didn't have to do anything because of the diagnosis. Totally disorganized and a waste of my time!!!

Myself and my family members have been returning patients of Dr. Behr's for 6 years. When I saw all of these negative comments, I had to reply. Dr. Behr treated me with MOHS procedure for a basil cell cancer. During my yearly visit, she is still checking on it. The wait in the office is usually 30-45 minutes, but my last Fresno dermatologist made me wait 2 hours every time...really. Yes, you need to keep your yearly scheduled appts, because her appts are valuable...but you can get on a waiting list. If you need MOHS you do not wait a year to get in, but weeks. I feel so lucky to be one of her patients. I think many people fail to realize that Dr. Behr is a surgeon. She can't possibly spend 30 minutes with every patient talking about the weather. Yes, she is providing all of the newest facial methods going on, but when you go to Dr. Behr her office has researched these procedures and she brings 20 years of experience which started at UCLA. I am not opposed to her making money.… She earns every dollar in this busy office.

I went to Dr. Behr's office for laser treatments and retin A, nothing major. It is HIGHLY irritating that they are NEVER on time but the gals in the office are fairly nice and generally professional. The laser treatments worked great . In the 6 or so times I went to the office, I saw Dr. Behr once for about 2 minutes so zero facetime essentially.

Appointments are made a year out. If you need to cancel be prepared to wait another year for an appointment. This office focuses on cosmetics. Want Botox? You can get an appointment in 12 hours. Have cancer? Be prepared to wait a year. Ridiculous. So instead of canceling and rescheduling my appt. I will take my sick and feverish children in to an office full of people because I have suspicious looking moles I need checked and can't wait a year. Scary that it has come to this....I have great insurance and still can't get an appt. I would not go to this office again.

Dr. Behr and her staff are very attentive and professional. After examining my condition Dr.Behr made her recommendation and follow up appt for more treatment as needed. Very happy with her bedside manner :)
