Dr. Kathleen A Cassin, MD

I am really not a fan of Dr. Cassin. I went to her for several years because she came so highly recommended. She may be a good doctor if you have serious issues or are pregnant. I don't know. But for me, as a young and single sexually active adult, all she did was talk down to me, lecture me, and make me feel embarrassed or ashamed when I was honest about having a new sexual partner and wanted to get tested to be safe, for example. Or, about not using condoms WITH MY SERIOUS BOYFRIEND of many years (when I started going to her- before I was single...) when we were each other's only partners, AND I had an IUD for birth control!!! I think that's pretty ridiculous. Other times, when I went to her for minor problems, she would just generally always have an attitude of "You're dumb, and you're wasting my precious time," anytime I would ask a few questions after her exam. There are times when I was having some issues and I probably should have gone in to see her, but I didn't, because I was… afraid of being belittled or made to feel bad by her. That is the opposite feeling you should have when you think of your preventative care doctor! Also, the office staff there is completely incompetent. Very frustrating experiences for what should be easy, routine things. No, unfortunately I would definitely not recommend her to anyone.

Kate Cassin is the creme de la creme of gynecologists. She literally saved my life!

Was not listened to and therefore, my issue was not followed up on until I took it upon myself to obtain the testing I needed to receive an accurate diagnosis. What resulted was a several month delay in diagnosing cancer. Would give 0 stars for accurate diagnosis if I could.
