Dr. Kathleen Farinacci, MD

Dr. Kathleen Farianacci is extremely knowledgeable about medications to prescribe and she listens well to her patients. I find Dr Farianacci to be nonjudgmental and easy to talk to openly. During the past two years she has helped me tremendously. Unfortunately, I’ve had some major health issues ranging from anxiety to learning about a serious degenerative illness to needing brain surgery. Dr. Farianacci always seems to come up with a plan to help me. She’ll laugh with me when I can laugh about my situation or hand me tissues if I need to cry. “The Beach Doctors” do not accept any insurance and although I am currently blessed to be covered by two excellent insurance plans, I manage my budget to pay to see Dr. Farianacci. I highly recommend her. If you value your health enough to pay out of pocket for a highly qualified, caring, doctor, in my opinion, Dr. Farianacci is definitely worth the price. I’ve found in the area of psychiatry, the doctors I’ve seen who accept insurance have… been unprofessional and unhelpful (with the exception of one doctor who moved out of the area). The office does accept credit cards.

I've been going to Dr Farinacci for awhile and she is the best. She listens, no judgement, completely down to earth. She is very knowledgeable but doesn't talk to you like you are stupid.It can be pretty pricey, but I think it is worth it if you can afford to go.

Wonderful doctor. She's warm, kind, and easy to talk to. Seems up to date on new medications. A lot of years experience. . Doesn't take insurance so it can be expensive, but great for medication consultations.

I have gone to a lot of Psychiatrist but she is the best, very caring and helpful no judgement...Highly recomended if you want great care and help with your meds

I would highly recommend Kathleen Farinacci. Just based on my one recent visit with her, it was clear that she had a vast wealth of knowledge in her field, and years of experience that contributed to her overall expertise. She was personable, caring, and easy to talk to. What perhaps stood out most was how much information she gathered about my own experiences on and off different medications before making her recommendations. She was a psychiatrist who truly listened before making a judgement about what's best. I walked out of the session feeling reassured, comfortable, and confident in the advice she gave. I've seen numerous psychiatrists for my anxiety, panic attacks, and depression, and she stood out as one of the very best.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Farinacci. She is always able to get me in right away when I need to see her. She absolutely knows her medications, which one would be best, whether they should be combined, and always returns calls that day, or early the next day. Even though she is not one of my "network providers" (I have Blue Cross Blue Shields) she is really worth paying extra for. I am reimbursed for about half of what the insurance company considers "usual and customary fee." (so they pay about $112 for a $225 bill.) She will provide you with a Superbill, when her invoice comes. I submit the superbill to Blue Cross. Hope this helps.

Dr. Kathleen Farinacci is extremely knowledgeable about depression, and all the latest medicines. I have seen her for 10 years, and she has been phenomenal. She is quite caring, and comes across as a very down-to-earth person. She is especially good at combining antidepressants (poly-psycholpharmachology) which has been for me, a total lifesaver. She never gives up on people, and she believes that depression is 100% treatable, that it is a matter of finding the right combination. Dr. Farinacci also strikes me as a person without an ego. She loves working with people, and finds psychiatry to be a very creative field, because she gets to work with the whole person, not just one part of anatomy. I cannot say enough good things about her.
