I went to the Dr to try to feel better. I saw a resident that was very nice I told him what I was there for and he then had to consult with dr. Hale she came to the room without introducing herself she told me to remove my sunglasses she then asked me where I was wearing them and I replied I just had eye surgery she has me how long ago I said 3 weeks she then stated sarcastically it's way past the photophobia stage and I replied to her that I have more problems with my eyes that I have to have more surgeries and I can how's the light in my eyes. She then asked me why I was not at my appointment with Dr velarde I told her I did not know who Dr velarde was and she replied you made the appointment I told her I didn't make any appointment and the previous doctor forgot to give me my referral so I had never contacted that doctor she left the room and brought back the referral and said oh it's misleading it made the appointment for you with no apology she then asked me where I received my… pain medications from and I told her that I hadn't received pain medications anywhere else but there besides after my surgery she told me that I was inconsistent with what I was telling the doctors which I told them all I would take one pill approximately every 6 hours if I didn't need it I wouldn't take it she told me that my appointments were to spread out and that's why I I was inconsistent she then said well we will not be refilling those and anything else was there anything else she could help me with although the main reason I was there was I feel like I have a cold and wanted to get some medication for it she says just prescribed her a medication that she didn't even ask me if I was allergic to or anything or even read my history to see if I was allergic to anything she then said do we have your Pharmacy on file and I replied yes and she said okay you can leave now I went to the doctor to get better and this was the worst worst experience I ever encountered I walked out of there crying although I did tell her I did not appreciate her treating me as if I was some kind of pill Junkie I have never received pain pills in my life except for after my bad car accident and I just had neck and eye surgeries I would never recommend her to anyone as I was still in shock I was treated that way
