Dr. Kathleen Karen Jensen, DDS

I had a few issues with this doctor. The primary one being that she was not wearing a mask and was mouth breathing directly into my mouth. This was very disturbing. I asked her to put a mask on and she did but she gave no apology -- she only sounded defensive, frustrated and annoyed by having to put it on. Another problematic issue was that she said I need scaling and root planning. She said she does not do that at her office however and didn't have anyone to refer me to. I called around to dentists trying to find one that would do it, but none would without first doing a regular exam (which Jensen just performed, so my insurance would not cover another). The dentist I finally found to do the procedure did ask "why didn't she just do it at her office?" Also, I had some very old and large fillings that needed to be redone. I asked her about this and she said redoing them would require crowns instead of regular fillings. I didn't get them done at that time, and I'm glad I didn't.… The next dentist I saw scoffed when I told him another dentist suggested crowns and said it definitely was not necessary. He did fillings and they've been holding up just fine.
