Her resident and she were wonderful in dealing with my issues. Explained everything clearly and had a definite plan on handling them.

very poor interaction with patients. talks down to people like she is so much better than they are, does not explain results of findings from tests or exams. seems to only be concerned with what tests or referrals she can send someone for to boost more revenue for intercoastal medical group. very hard to get answers to questions or refills for meds from pharmacies.

keeps up with my blood work and medications, takes time to listen to what my issues are and I never feel like she is rushing me to get to her next patient

Dr. Kennedy has been my primary care doctor since I first moved to Sarasota. I have been diagnosed with a variety of health issues since that time, which was over 25 years ago. Dr. Kennedy has consistently provided me with what I regard as the utmost in patient care and goes out of her way to make sure that I get the attention and follow-up care that I need. When I was in the hospital for my stomach issues, Dr. Kennedy visited me every day. Dr. Kennedy is not like typical doctors who may merely prescribe a medication and see you out the door; instead, she provides personal service and acts as a diagnostician who appropriately refers her patients to specialists.

Exceptional treatment

Perhaps I saw Dr. Kennedy on an "off" day, but she seemed defensive, abrupt and dismissive. Later when I told friends and family how she spoke to me, they were shocked that I didn't walk out on the visit. The follow-up was laughable/non-existent. I am not impressed with Intercoastal Medical Group. Keep looking.

This Doctor is sarcastic and rude. Not at all what I would expect from a female Doctor. Would not recommend her.

She is the best of the best! She is not in our network--but it is worth paying out of network costs to have her on our side. her costs are also very reasonable!
