Being a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) has been a journey of self discovery. My plan is to help you, in your self discovery. I have seen many people working on their life journeys in mental health hospitals, addiction treatment centers, day programs for individuals with disabilities, schools and multiple community agencies. Acquired skills from these locales include therapies with individuals, groups and families.

Topics of specialty: individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assessment for those individuals, court proceedings for guardianship truancy court, mental health discharge from mental health hospital, hospice, and ER social work.

Bachelors Degree through Colorado State University, in Pueblo, following the time I took to raise my family, thanks to the support of a good man. Completing my Masters degree through a satellite program provided by Newman University of Wichita Kansas, that included a family centered focus. LGBTQIA+? friendly. I have traveled …to Arkansas and provided services in both a hospital setting, and hospice house. Intense inpatient therapy daily is a unique and poignant care. Learning about the need to be extremely realistic. Keeping things simple were ideals can be learned and continued in regular follow up sessions.

Currently, I am working in Oregon to see the coast and assist veterans with mental health. I feel continuing my care for my fellow Coloradoans is a good way to give back to those back home, adding to what I initially began or learned there.
