Best Doctor ever.

Dr. McDougal takes time to hear what your concerns are and addresses them in terms you can understand. She is thorough and compassionate. I have never had to wait long in her office to see her.

I have seen several Doctor's And she was the best. Even called me on the phone when I had questions. No other Dr. has done that. Due to insurance I am no longer a patient of hers and makes me sad! I finally found a good Dr. Now had to start over. Very caring and takes time with you! Great Dr. :)

Dr. McDougal is a truly amazing physician. In this day and age of feeling rushed and not treated with real care by doctors, Dr. McDougal is a throwback in the best sense. She truly listened, without typing on a computer the whole time! Dr. McDougal was thorough, compassionate, and very knowledgable. She answered all questions, and was highly proactive without being catastrophic. Her office staff was also very helpful. I can't say enough about Dr. McDougal. She and her husband, Dr. Morales, are both treasures.

My experience with Dr. Mcdougal was wonderful. She took her time to listen and respond all my concerns. Dr. Mcdougal is very professional and care about you as a patient. After an hour, she finally made a decision and prescribed the medications that she consider the best for my condition. I would recommend Dr. Mcdougal to friends and family.

I found Dr. McDougal approximately two years ago when my brother and I moved to the Oxnard area, and only wish we could have found this level of excellence in patient care many years ago. Dr. McDougal's office staff was welcoming, friendly, and polite. The physician assistants are always courteous and very careful and diligent in measuring my vitals, asking about my current condition or recent problems, and consulting my file to note and update any changes in my medications, symptoms, or condition. Dr. McDougal's practice is extremely well managed. I have never spent more than 5 minutes waiting to be taken into the exam room, and never more than 5 minutes before the doctor arrives to examine me. It is evident that Dr. McDougal truly cares for and respects her patients as people, which is reflected by every member of her excellent staff. On my initial appointment, Dr. McDougal spent an hour listening intently to my very complicated medical history, asking pertinent,… thoughtful questions along the way when needed. I have never found a physician who actually listened to me in such a patient and engaged manner. Dr. McDougal then performed a very thorough physical examination, explaining her findings along the way. She then discussed her diagnosis with me, and explained recommended lab tests and medication. This standard has applied on every visit since my first. Dr. McDougal is the first physician I have ever had who sends me a detailed, personal letter after reviewing laboratory test results, and has phoned me personally if follow up care was needed. She educates the patient and encourages the patient to become engaged in their own health care. She is fully present with and accessible to her patients. She is never rushed, and is extremely well educated and up to date with current and developing medical knowledge. Her bedside manner is caring, warm, and relatable, with just the perfect measure of humor to make the patient experience a true pleasure. I always leave Dr. McDougal's office feeling well cared for, better informed, relieved, and confident. Dr. McDougal's staff submits billing promptly and accurately, and her fees are reasonable. Her staff always remembers my name, and each one has been extremely courteous and helpful when I call the office with any questions or needs. Dr. McDougal expanded her insurance providership status about a year ago, and we were thrilled to learn that my brother's insurance plan was now accepted at her office. He has received the same, excellent care from Dr. McDougal and her staff as I had enjoyed previously. We HIGHLY recommend Dr. McDougal and her staff to any patient seeking EXEMPLARY medical care.

I saw Dr. McDougal for the first time and she spent over an hour with me getting my family history and medical history. She was easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. She referred me to a lab for blood tests and then scheduled a follow-up to go over the results. A friend referred me to her and she came highly recommended.
