Quit Medicine. You mistreat patients and you manifest that you have deep eccentric behavior

I've been struggling with my mental and physical health for years and she is the first doctor to give me a real, clear diagnosis. She helped me so much in just one visit and gave me her personal number in case I had any problems when starting a new medication. She asked great questions and really listened and new exactly what my issues were. Would definitely recommend.

I found dr Nelson to be very bright perhaps the brightest I ever worked with. But her attitude and her laziness makes her throw out the patients that are hard to treat as she did to me. She tried to work a private practice but eventually did have enough patients to sustain it. How sad that such a brilliant doctor sabatoged her own career out of arrogance and laziness

Dr Nelson straightened out my medication, and did an excellent job. I am confident that I can have a successful life now. I have suffered mental illness for 32 years, so I have a lot of experience with psychiatrists, and so when I say she did an excellent job, you can believe me.

On my first visit she offered me wine and alcohol does mix with my medications. By the second visit I knew this gig wouldn't last. I have to ask myself that if she is the great success she claims to be why did she move her office from an elevatored building in the Cummings center to a run down handicapped inaccessible building

Several years ago dr nelson terminated with me in what some at the hospital called "bizarre". I went back when I saw her walking into her new office. She seemed terrified to see me and slammed the door in front of me. I called that night to apologize for my rudeness in showing up all I wanted was to know why I was terminated. She called me back talking so loud my neighbor heard her "get out of my life". This after over six years since our last contact. I realized this was about her and. Her issues not me and mine. If you are her patient and she kicks you out you will be lucky

I waited 20 minutes for her to arrive to her shoe box of an office in Beverly. Then she ask me questions of no relevance, hence she did not go to Harvard Medical School. I wasted my time seeing her. In the end, I had to ask for my medical card back and left. I would highly, highly reccomend, staying far away from Kathleen Nelson.

I enjoy dr. Nelson very much. I had to switch drs when mine moved and I found her on my own. She makes me laugh, is so intelligent, very accurately pinpoints when I am unable to express

I realize that even the most arrogant and seemingly questionable doctor can have great results every once in a while. That does not mean it happens very often. I did not find her compassionate and when I questioned her judgement she terminated. When she terminated she said we couldn't be friends or go out to dinner. Dr. Nelson is one of the most emotional, intelligent, and caring psychiatrists I have ever known. She is an expert diagnostician and very down to earth with a calm, caring bedside manner not found with all psychiatrists. She is kind, speaks the truth with love, and is not easily manipulated! I can only wonder if the reviews written here thus far were from a disgruntled person who was not seeking honest psychiatric treatment, but just medication and a "quick fix" that doesn't really work in the long run! Just wondering!?! I trusted Dr. Nelson with my daughter's case and she was amazing! Thanks for reading this review, hope it's helpful.
