Dr. Katie Norton was awesome from the first day I met her. She sits down and talks to you and I've always felt like I could ask her anything. I've been going to her for 15 years and couldn't imagine not seeing her every year. Shes apart of my family, delivered both of my kids, and has always given me the best care, no matter what she was going through.

Love Dr. Norton! She delivered both my kids as well as my sisters kids!

Dr Norton is a piece of work, and not in a positive way. She has decided "she has enough clients to keep her busy aty Bergan Mercy" and will not be traveling to the new Methodist. Ask to change and she'll talk you into doing tours at both places, then deicded to leave and she charges you for your medical records even though she's the one dropping a hospital, not the patient making a change. She feels Methodist is "just too far to drive" when people come from all over Omaha and surrounding areas to see her. What a JOKE!! get a different doctor. Sounds like the other review, Cold and Brusque!!!!

I have changed doctors due to the fact that I do not feel comfortable with Dr. Norton. I found her attitude to be very cold and brusque. I didn't feel that she was interested in finding out WHY I was having problems. She seemed more interested in writing me off and telling me to join weight watchers, which I found to be insulting. I don't appreciate doctors assuming that because I am overweight that I do nothing to try to reduce my weight. I came to Dr. Norton after having been on my period for over seven months. The treatment she offered only partially worked. In the end I opted for an IUD, which finally stopped the bleeding.When I called to schedule an appointment for a check-up of my IUD placement (as the literature for the IUD stated would have to be done) I was told that this checkup was unnecessary. When I called because I suddenly started losing hair, she told me that this was not a side effect of my IUD - even though the Mirena website lists hair loss as a side effect!I am… glad that other people seem to have had better experiences with Dr. Norton than I did. Maybe she is better in the delivery room than in the exam room - but I wouldn't recommend her. And I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting my baby's prenatal care to her after these experiences.
