Dr. Kathleen M Regan, MD

I have seen at least 5 psychiatrists over the last 20+ years. Dr. Regan is undoubtedly the best. She is patient, kind, thoroughly explains medications, and involves me in decision making. Dr. Regan listens to me, and keeps abreast of current research. She is highly sought after in the community. She is often booked for months in advance, and there is a reason for that. I don't understand why she has so many negative reviews.

This doctor is not responsive. It took her office 3 days to respond to a call in which my child experienced side effects. The reason for not responding was that she was, "too busy." She did not offer to make a referral to a specialist that was needed and did not provide medical guidance regarding dosage after my child experienced side effects. Also, she and her office staff were rude and dismissive a number of times. I will not return and do not recommend her.
