Kathleen L. Robinson, DMD
Dr. Robinson was born in Bismarck, North Dakota, in 1959.  Her family moved to the Atlanta area in 1969 when her father, Dr. William Lauer, became a professor at Emory University School of Dentistry.  Her grandfather and an uncle were also dentists in North Dakota.  In 1979, she received her A.S. at Oxford College, and in 1981, her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia.  She practiced dental hygiene for five years prior to entering MCG School of Dentistry, where Dr. Robinson received her D.M.D. degree in 1990, and has practiced at Vassey Dental Partners since that time.  Dr. Robinson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists, and the Hinman Dental Society, where she serves as Editor.  She is married to Robby, who is a District Dental Director for  East Metro Public Health, and they have two teenage daughters, Mary …and Kimberly.  She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and cooking.
