She refused to discuss any options for my fibroid treatment other then hysterectomy. I delayed the treatment for 2 years because I was struggling so much with such a big decision. I ended up going to another doctor and getting a myomectomy and now, a more than a year after the surgery, feel totally great and very happy with my decision not to listen to Dr. Solomon.

The real problem was the desire to offer options for treatment. She was insisting that my only option is hysterectomy, which I really struggled with for 2 years. She didn't explain why no other options widely known (e.g. myomectomy) and didn't really respond to my concerns and even said that no one in their practice would offer me anything else. I found a different doctor and had a myomectomy about 8 months ago - feel great, symptoms are gone, recovery - 2 weeks, fertility saved, depression gone. I can't explain why she so wanted to remove my uterus, even seeing how much I struggle with both, the symptoms (my fibroid was huge) and the decision to remove the uterus.

Dr. Solomon was extremely attentive and helpful. She gave me information without making feel silly and took the time to make me feel comfortable. this is the first time I haven't walked away from an office and thought "I wish I had remembered to asked... "I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Solomon.
