Dr. Kathleen B Sullivan, MD

I was a bit apprehensive as I have several procedures and surgeries due to a bad spine. I had an extensive spinal surgery and was assigned Dr Sullivan this time. Turned out she was overwhelmingly awesome. Great bedside manner and patient care not just actual care but also communication and compassion after the procedure. She calmed my nerves prior and came out after the next procedure and checked on my pain and provided addition above and beyond care tending to my pain. Really a great doctor I am tough to please and she was just perfect !

dr sullivan is the most caring, nuturing individual as well as an outstanding anesthesiologist. i am a 74 year old women admitted to saddleback hospital in a life threatening situation. dr sulliven helped save my life. god bless her. she came to my room to visit me several days after surgery & what kindness & bedside manner.

I am a nurse and I work with Dr Sullivan and see her excellence daily and I was also a patient of hers and had a great experience. I take care of patients with Dr Sullivan in the Recovery Room and have seen her diagnose and treat and intervene with great skill and compassion. She has a great bedside manner with patients and their family members. She is professional and collaborative with nurses and other doctors. Her leadership style as our hospital's Chief of Anesthesia is approachable and effective. When I delivered twins, Dr Sullivan was my anesthesiologist. I had every confidence in her clinical skills and the procedures she performed went smoothly and perfectly. She put me at ease and I was comforted by her emotional support during that stressful and exciting experience.

I had surgery on my back to remove a benign tumor. I was put under by this doctor. While intubated I woke up which caused fluid to get into my lungs! My wife happens to be a RN in PACU and brother and sister in law MDs. I am now suffering the day after coughing up bloody sputum. Thanks alot Dr. Sullivan uncaring money hungry Anesthesiologist!
