Dr. Kathryn Burns Grande, MD

Dr. Grande and her scribe/nurses are always wonderful. They are kind, listen to all concerns, and treat me with complete respect. She asks about my personal life and remembers who I am. She performed my hysterectomy when previous Doctors dismissed my complaints and concerns. I have never been treated so well at an OBGYN office, and I really appreciate this provider and the office.

Dr. Grande is so kind and patient. She listens to my concerns and takes the time to get to know me as a person.

An amazing Dr. She is very passionate and always has the time to listen and discuss your questions. AWESOME!

Felt like concerns weren’t really heard nor cared about. Appointment felt rushed definitely not experience anyone should be experiencing during 1st pregnancy. As a women of color it’s very disheartening and upsetting that this Is the level of care we can expect from medical professionals.

She clearly shows that she doesnt want to work with you. She does it passively and often is cold and rarely smiles. Each time she does vaginal exam, it's extremely painful. I've never felt so much pain for a simple vaginal exam before and I had two previous birth before going to her. It feels like she either doesnt know what she's doing or she's doing it purposely for so that I switch providers. I've also have never experienced such a indifferent experience with a doctor like her. She made me felt unwelcome as a patient, made it seem stupid to ask questions, and also made me felt like my concerns were not valid.

Do not doctor with Dr. Kathryn Grande... I would NOT recommend going through this for your OBGYN especially if you are a young or first time mom. I have had a horrible experience and time here. Staff is rude and blunt and does not care about your concerns, questions or thoughts. I was doctoring with Dr. Kathryn Grande through this clinic and by the time I was 31 weeks I had only saw her a total of 2 times and had never discussed a birth plan nor did she know the first thing about me. I ended up switching doctors because I honestly knew nothing of what was going on and I felt as though my opinions and feelings did not matter to them, they just wanted my money. My first bad experience happened around 20 weeks when I was told my baby was growing way to small, they did another ultrasound only to find out the baby was in fact on schedule, just was curled up during the first pictures. My second bad experience was my next appointment at 24 weeks, Dr. Grande told me I had an irregular… heartbeat however had not bothered to move my necklace out from under the stethoscope while listening to my heart. She then told me I needed an EKG as well as an echo that very day. When I asked her why I needed both she said that when the EKG comes back with results confirming something is wrong we will want the echo, my EKG came back perfectly fine. Might I also add, 24 weeks was my FIRST TIME EVER meeting Dr. Grande. At 28 weeks when offered the Tdap shot, I asked to get it done the next appointment however the nurse told me it had to be done that day. The NP then came in and when I asked her about it she said anytime between 28-34 weeks I can receive it. At my 31 week appointment, I was told I had dangerously high blood pressure and I needed to be admitted. Dr. Grande told me I would need to deliver my baby that very day. I asked to call my husband to tell him to get to the hospital ASAP, I was clearly upset as anyone would be hearing that news, she barged into the room 3 minutes later without knocking or letting me finish my conversation with him. I told Dr. Grande to retake my BP as each time I had gone in previously it was high right away and by the end of my appointment it was normal but she refused to listen to me, telling me the baby needed to be monitored and most likely delivered that very day. Had she actually saw me at all of my appointments she would have known I needed it taken twice. I was sent upstairs where she said she would come and check on me, as you can imagine she did not come because the results were normal. A labor/delivery nurse told me that they are suppose to wait 10 minutes before taking your BP as you had just been walking around which causes false results. Needless to say both my husband and I were upset as we just spent 3 hours in the hospital only for the results to show I was correct and just needed to rest a bit before taking my BP. After that appointment I never went back. My opinion and what I had to say did not matter to anyone there. Dr. Grande is rude, blunt, and has very very poor patient care skills. I would highly recommend looking else where for a doctor because I do not wish for anyone to have an experience like mine, a first time mother or not. I did not feel comfortable there and nothing was explained. I wasn't told what tests they were running or why, they just did them without explaining. I was left in the dark. I am keeping my name anonymous as I do not wish to receive any calls from this facility.
