Dr. Kathryn Marie Hajj, MD

Dr. Hajj was my primary physician for over five years until she moved last year. I miss her and how kind and down to earth she is. My experience was always very comfortable office visits, time well spent, and she was good about script refills when necessary. The only downside was some of her office staff (not all), which unfortunately can reflect poorly on the doctor. She is still A+++++ in my book. I would recommend her.

Spends time with patients-- good. Therefor can be long waits after appointment times-- not for those who feel rushed.

Was disappointed and let down several times. It is very hard to get answers or call backs. You are always told that somebody will get back to you by the end of the day and it doesn't happen. The next day when you call again you get excuses and treated like you are bothering them. I think the billing is off and even though Dr. Hajj makes you feel like she cares while you are with her, it seems money is her bottom line.

My first appointment with Dr. Hajj was very impressive. She took her time listening to me and making suggestions. During the second appointment she suggested things I should do before my next appointment, along with telling me some research she was going to do. Her words were, "You do your homework and I will do mine". She said twice that she would call me. I also had lab work at that time. I did not hear from her or from her office so called there. They said they would talk to the doctor about my concerns and my lab work and get back to me. I heard nothing so called again and got the same answer. I call FOUR times always being told someone would get back to me. I never did hear from anyone. Therefore, I started looking for another doctor. I was very disappointed because I really felt Dr. Hajj was a doctor that cared when I first went to her. But I guess something she said to me on that first visit should have sent up a red flag. She asked how I found her and then said, "… We don't have many new patients". For a moment I felt that she really did not want any new patients, or specifically me as a patient. I am glad there are patients who have been satisfied with her care.

It pains me to read the unpleasant write-ups here about Dr. Hajj. She has been my personal doctor for 5 years, through very difficult and challenging times. She was the only doctor who correctly diagnosed my aunt who had brain tumors. She is very thorough, takes all the time you need to understand your concerns and definitely goes the extra mile to help you. I consider her a friend and confidant on difficult physical matters. After I got to know the women in her office, I enjoy each one of them and find them helpful. It is a very busy practice which sometimes can be taken for something other than it is.

I have gone to Dr Hajj for about 8 yrs. She is the best doctor I have ever had. She takes time to talk with you and does whatever she can to help in things beyond physical health. I consider her a friend. I have now moved out of the area and it breaks my heart to have to find another doctor. It will never be the same! Thank you Dr. Hajj!!

Dr. Hajj put me on a very addictive benzodiazapam for over seven years. She told me nothing about the side-effects, the withdrawal or even when to take the medication. This medication was not to be taken for more than 7-14 days straight and she prescribed it to me for over seven years. I built a tolerance for the medication and she just increased the dose. Finally, I wanted to get off the medication and she weaned me off of 6mg in one month. It was the worst month I've ever experienced. She knew NOTHING about the withdrawal symptoms I experienced and still experience. She was cold about the situation and said ' I wasn't dealing with this very well." Also, she failed to show for one of my weekly appointments with no courtesy phone call or word from her office. She has put my health and well-being in jeopardy. Needless to say, I no longer have her as my primary physician and after 10 years of being her patient, would never recommend her to anybody. And her secretary /nurse Mary is a… rude, snippy old lady. Never again!!!

Dr Haaj always helps her patients. She doesnt worry about time she will stay with you till she is done and you fully understand what she is saying. She listens to her patience and what your illness is. -Write about what you like or dislike about your physician-Write about whether you would recommend-Write as if you are talking to a peer who is asking your opinion

Dr Hajj, her PAs and nurses are excellent. They know what needs to happen to get issues resolved. One of her PAs went as far as giving me their personal cell # when I was scheduled in an out of state surgery. A week after the surgery while in recovery, the surgeon gave me antibiotics that upset my tummy to the point I couldn't keep food down. Kathy found a pharmacy that was near where we were staying and sent a prescription for anti-nausea meds.As for the secretary staff is the most rude and unhelpful I've ever encountered. They are unwilling to help, uncooperative/difficult & rude. I am currently looking for a new doctor because I do not like feeling like I'm interrupting a group of pissy teenage girls.

I Want people to know how badly I was treated at Dr Hajjs office! This is not a doctor anyone should have,her PA is even worst. Hajj never showed twice for my appointments I got the PA instead this women was no doctor and had no buiness being in a professional setting she was confused about me and had no business consulting me. When I insisted on seeing Hajj they said she was not in!
