Dr. Kathryn Honz, MD

I was incredibly pleased with my results with Dr. Honz. When consulting with her before my surgery, she did not try to sway me a certain way, and encouraged me to take some time to decide what I wanted to do. She even conversed with me about the different incision areas, the risks, etc. and was very straightforward about everything which I loved. Dr. Honz is very precise and immaculate in everything she does. My surgery went very smooth and was exactly 53 minutes long. They took every step and precaution they needed to and made sure to inform me on everything, rather than feeling like I didn't know anything that was going to happen before or after the surgery.

I liked Dr. Honz the moment I met her. She was friendly, professional and I felt like she really listened to me. She spent more than enough time with me, and was very reassuring. I went from a 40 G to a 40 C which is what I had hoped for, although she was honest with me and told me there were times due to the extent of the lumpectomy that she could not always get a patient to the exact size they hoped to be, but she could always get close. I am very happy with the results - and I wish I'd had the reduction years ago. I feel so much better about myself. Her after care has been exemplary, and as I told her at our last appointment I do not have a single negative thing to say about her, the experience ( ok - there was some pain) the hospital or nursing staff. If I ever decided to have any cosmetic procedures in the future, I would definitely use her.

Had a rupturede implant replaced and now full of scar tissue she would not even set an appointment to take a look at the onset of the problem only in it for the money she is bad news

Dr Honz is an amazing surgeon. I sought consultations from 3 different surgeons in Omaha as I needed an abdominoplasty to fix a diastasis I had after having children. Dr. Honz was my last consult and I felt at ease from the moment I was in her exam room. She not only listened to what I wanted she also took notes, drew pictures and took time to thoroughly explain to me how the procedures I was asking her to complete would go. I am a month post op now and have had a wonderful recovery process and could not be more ecstatic with my results. The only thing I can say is the office is busy and some times I can be in the waiting room for 15-30 minutes prior to going back, but once I am back Dr. Honz sees me very quickly. I am ok waiting if it means she is giving another patient the same attention she gives me. I wish Dr. Honz had more reviews when I was looking at surgeons because I think they are so settling to your nerves, know she is one of the best in Omaha and a perfectionist, exactly… what you want in a plastic surgeon.

Her bedside manner was not friendly or caring. I stated I had waited 6months for my appointment. Dr Honz says we are busy I have only a few hours for people with moles. She then stated she did not have the time to remove all of mine. In addition her nurse took my blood pressure & it was higher than normal. I questioned the reading she did and said nothing. Totally disengage. Get out of healthcare if you have lost your compassion.

Best Plastic surgeon around! Dr. Honz and her staff do a wonderful job making a patient feel comfortable and changing ones life.

Dr. Honz performed a tummy tuck right after my OB did a total hysterectomy. It has been 2 years (I am 53) and I could be happier. I would highly recommend Dr. Honz.

The doctor was very nice when I went to her for an appointment but it seemed as though she was very inexperienced she acted as though she did not have confidence in her work. Everytime I questioned her about her results or to see pictures she moved on to a different subject as if to negate from talking about experience. She kept saying she didn't want to make any promises on how things would look that she would just try her best I would have thought a doctor would say the person would look great and they do great work not they try their best. I think that she just needs a little more experience as well as a little more bedside manner sometimes it seems as if she was in a rush and she did not have time to listen to all your questions and concerns

Awesome Doctor. Made a horrific situation bearable. I actually looked forward to my weekly visit because she was so supportive and has a great sense of humor! Her nurse Pam is wonderful too!
