Dr. Kathryn Kanner, MD

She’s the best. I’ve had depression episodes for 30 years, so I have seen my share of doctors and tried a boatload of medications. Consequently, she really listened to me regarding what worked and didn’t, what I was willing to try, etc. I always felt involved and valued. She is also excellent about keeping in touch via a safe internet portal. In brief, she is all anyone could hope for in a psychiatrist.

Dr. Kathryn Kanner is an exceptional psychiatrist. She is professional, intelligent, engaging, and above all, compassionate. She is also very accessible and responsive; she uses luminello which provides a portal for patients to schedule appointments and directly email her with questions. I cannot recommend her more enthusiastically for anyone looking for balanced medication management and psychotherapy treatment.

I have had multiple bad experiences with doctors over the years. I would call it tunnel vision, as doctors think every medication effects everyone the same, which is far from the truth. I was dreading making another appointment with a Dr. For about 4 months. So I finally did minimal research, chose one, and she was awesome. Open minded, compassionate, and it was like she understood where I was coming from. I couldn't believe it. I could tell she truly cared. I had been misdiagnosed for so many years, when I knew what my condition was. She diagnosed me with exactly what I thought, or already knew. I am also looking forward to therapy sessions with her. Anyway, I highly recommend her, she is great.
