Dr. Kathryn Elaine Kasyjanski, MD

Seems to be a good doctor but you can never get your child in if they are sick. Need to focus more on current patients or add more doctors to the practice.

All my children see her. I could not imagine going to a different Doctor.

Recommended by a few moms. we are new in area like everyone else it seems haha. We were Excited bc of other reviewers on here (although one initial review on here had us nervous so we stayed very gaurded) We enjoyed her personality but to me it seemed kind of syrupy fake. I don't know. We will keep searching I think. finding a good peds dr is hard!! Good luck mamas!

We move around a lot as a military family. Dr. Katie spent a ton of time getting to know our family. She is exceptionally detailed, remember our children's favorite cartoon characters and TV shows. She has pictures of her patients up at her desk that we walk by. She clearly cares about her patients. She also responds promptly to mychart messages which is an awesome feature at her office! When I have called after hours, I always get a call right back. And they have Saturday hours - which is sooo helpful. Dr. Katie identified issues that previous doctors missed - a few of which were on a military base. I can't be more thankful for what she has done for me and my family. If you are lucky enough to have her take care of your children you know exactly what I mean. I would not go anywhere else, and I dread the thought of our next family move. No one will replace her. We all love Dr. Katie. Her staff is very nice. The waiting room is pleasant. My kids love the fish. The patient rooms are… always spotless. There are books and toys to play with and the rooms are decorated with cool stickers that my kids always love to look at. Believe it or not, my kids actually enjoy going to the doctor when they get to see Dr. Katie! Ignore the review about getting a child in a gown - that mother is clearly out of touch or is used to going to doctors that rush things and don't make their best effort. (I know we have been through that before.) Dr. Katie and her staff were able to identify issues that other doctors missed because they didn't really listen or do a full exam. One of those issues would ONLY have been seen if my child was in a gown - and it was missed by at least one previous doctor. If you don't want your child in a gown there is a problem with you. Do you go to the dentist and tell the dentist not to look in your mouth? Or do you expect your doctor to have some sort of magical abilities? Dr. Katie is great, but she does not have magical abilities - at least I don't think. My kids might disagree. Lastly - make sure you are taking your children to a board certified pediatrician. Ask any of the doctors if they are. If they aren't - RUN. No offense to family doctors (I love mine), but board certified pediatricians just take care of KIDS - why would you take your KIDS to anything but that?

"Dr. Katie" is an absolute STAR. She is refreshing. She takes the time for my family and explains everything. Her staff is always friendly and Dr. Katie always finds a way to work us into her schedule. If I could give her 10 stars I would.

Friendly but pushy if disagrees and tries to make u feel uneducated. Lots of great things about this dr but she's not the one for us. Back to the drawing board.

Dr. Katie is the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever seen. My husband are new parents and she explains everything very well and makes you feel very comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Our daughter was recently admitted over night with pneumonia, bronchialitis, and an ear infection. Dr. Katie came the day of discharge and spent 30 minutes discussing my daughters follow up and what we need to do after discharge. My daughter loves her as well in which she does not open up very quickly to others but Dr. Katie is much different. I sent Dr. Katie a message through mychart just to thank her personally for everything and she writes back that she is happy she is feeling better and to give her a big hug for her. I know it sounds very small but the little things make a difference especially when you are an upset parent that your baby who is only 14 months has pneumonia and has to be admitted. I would not trust anyone else with my daughters health care.

Have seen this dr handful of times after numerous moms in area recommended. Very personable. Very easy going about non vax/selective vax/full vax. Get appt fast. Front staff extremely friendly as well and inviting. Tiny playroom with fish. Very welcoming. Problem occurred when explained my child's anxiety this visit about possibility of dr checking his genitals. New self awareness of body lately and the conversations that his genitals are "private" and stranger danger etc has led to this isolated incidence with my 4 yr old--explaining this at beginning of appt with dr kasyjanski, she seemed understanding. so I stated "I promised him this visit we would not be checking genitals and would work on the nervousness for next visit" her response "oh yea that's totally fine! Ok. No problem "--- -exam started as my 4 yr old sat on my lap (his choice)and my hands clasped around waist (his choice) to ensure safety for his worries.she continued to chat/laugh/examine. And then completely… Disregarding our conversation and her promise,she pulled his underwear open to check his genitals and snapped shut saying "see that wasn't too bad was it?!" As I glared she retorted "we have to check for pubic hair. " HES FOUR!!! I called hours later to discuss the clear lack of disrespect for my sons feelings and our conversation. Her response, "So if he says he doesn't want his ears checked next time will we be avoiding that as well? Hes 4 yrs old and U as a mother call the shots not him. Perhaps entertain counseling because these anxieties are uncommon in4&5 yr olds"- obviously we are switching Drs. Due to the oath they take of do no harm which was clearly violated. Now that trust has been broken we can no longer recommend this physician to others.

Dr. Katie is so great! She is super nice and very aggressive! I would highly recommend.
