Kathy was very thorough in her assessment and spent time explaining possible treatment plans keeping in mind my other medical diagnoses. She does a great job with patient teaching. Her professionalism and knowledge is why she is my first choice to see when unexpected medical concerns arise. She is truly an asset to Centracare!!

Kathy Katka is one of the best practitioners I've seen. I was so glad to see she had an open appointment for me, as she helped me several years ago when I had similar symptoms (terrible coughing up of gunky stuff). She listens and then asks on-target questions. Her physical exam was very complete. When I mentioned seeing her several years ago, she was able to check her notes and tell me things I'd forgotten [...], and more details. Her notes are superb! And, the meds she prescribed for me are indeed conquering the cough and making me feel better. I so much appreciate CNP Kate's care and expertise.

She took into account previous medical history and past experience with the medication being used, and made adjustments to my diabetes medication.

She checked my lungs, heart as well as my ears and throat - then referred and got me an appointment to the ER,NOSE and THROAT CLINIC at 10 am that same day. She actually fit me in with her busy schedule for a follow-up check of my ears. I had taken my Amoxicillin for 10 days and that had not solved the problem. My hearing was very muffled and I was worried of losing my hearing.

She was the best doctor I've seen there.
