Dr. Kathryn Elizabeth Long

The best doctor I have ever had. If anyone knows where she has moved please post it here.

Dr. Long is one of the best doctors I've ever visited. I recently found out she left the uptown office and I don't know where her practice has moved - does anyone know?

I felt immediately comfortable with Dr. Long. She is kind, patient and shows concern by listening.

Dr. Long was incredible--the only doctor I've ever enjoyed visiting. Her staff was rather unfriendly, but I found out today she left Novant Uptown. If you find her at her new practice/organization, claim her as your PCM for sure.

Went to her for several years in Kennesaw Georgia. Had no problems with her and then one day she was not in the office. She left with no advance notice not even telling the other Dr. in the office. Left patients hanging, never offering an explanation as to why she left. Very poor professional.

Hands down, best doctor ever. She genuinely cared about my issues and got on my level with them. Most doctors do not care about little things like headaches. Dr. Long went above and beyond to help me. Thank you!

Dr. Long was my PCP for approximately 4 to 5 years, I had started seeing Dr Long because of "issues" with my previous PCP. Dr. Long immediately gave me a very calming, safe, secure, trustworthy feeling. I miss her very much (from her time in Marietta, Georgia). She came through for me at a very urgent and critical time in my life. She was and will always be my hero.

Although parking and finding the location took me a few minutes, it was well worth it. Dr. Long is personable and didn't make me feel like I was at a doctor's office. She asked me questions about myself and made sure I had everything I needed. She followed up with phone calls, emails, and referrals within 24 hours. So happy I found her, and will be returning.

Dr. Long was terrible and we will not be going back. Called in the wrong prescription dosage on two of meds to my pharmacy. Luckily I caught it. Expressed no concern about getting the medical records from my previous doctor, which I would expect to be routine if not mandatory under professional standards. She agreed to fix one incorrect prescription that she called in,, but said the second Rx dosage was "more than recommended," despite the fact I've been on it for multiple years and offered medical records to support this assertion. Within five minutes of the short appointment beginning, she tried to upsale me on seeing a specialist in her Novant network for asthma (despite the fact that I've lived with it for over 30 years, and just saw a specialist in the town from which we moved less than four months prior to this appointment), as well as wanted to sell me additional appointments for full blood-work and a full physical, again despite the fact that my previous primary care… physician had done both of these within the last six months (yet she didn't care to inquire). Very disappointed...needs to up her performance and pay more attention to be in line with much stronger performers in her profession.
