Kathryn Malone, MD

I saw Dr. Malone and I was so pleased. She is caring, intuitive, compassionate, understanding and a excellent listener. I was so pleased with her service that I am going to ask her to be my PCP and she is NOT even in my insurance network, this is how good she is at what she dose. Also she is NOT a pill provider. (A doctor that is quick to throw a pill at you for treatment = PILL PROVIDER.)

I really needed to speak to the doctor, but when she came in she told me that she didn't have very much time and we probably wouldn't be able to get through all of my concerns. She ordered me some tests and practically ran out of the room, without explaining what they were or how to proceed. When I asked the nurse about the test she directed me to the lab down the hall, where they said they couldn't perform it - I'd have to go across town. When I got across town they told me that I'd have to drink an acid solution, which I can't drink with my condition. When I called the doctor to ask what to do, the receptionist was rude and couldn't help me. The doctor was nowhere to be found. So, I wasted about three hours and I'm still no closer to getting better. Really awful experience.

Dr. Malone is not only professional but, intuitive, caring and encouraging. She is proactive in her practice of caring for her patients. She is not about lets write a prescription for this. She is about what is the cause, best treatment and her follow up is bar none.

I had an appointment for 3PM for a physical. I arrived 10 minutes late, was given the usual paperwork to fill out. 20 minutes later they called me up to the desk to inform me that my appointment would be canceled because I was late. Seems like if that was REALLY the policy they could have told me that when I walked in. They then attempted to put me with a different doctor after I complained. I waited another 10 minutes to see him, they took me back, once back there they asked what I was there for. I told them a physical, then they changed their minds, they didn't have time to see me after all. So much for having an appointment. Terrible receptionists, terrible communication, I don't know if the doctors are any good since I wasn't able to see anyone WITH AN APPOINTMENT! Stay away from this place!

so glad to find a new family dr. after moving to this side of bay, it was a blind pick, and turned out to be just what I wanted!
