Dr. Kathryn Irene Murinas, MD

After being referred to St. Vincents emergency for pain by Providence Urgent Care, I was put under the care of Dr. Murinas (according to the accounting I received from Medicare). The pain, like the tests, went on and on. Despite my complains of debilitating thirst and increasing pain, in the roughly four hours there I was limited to one bag of water, 1 dose of morphine. In that four hours two tests, both apparently seeking a gall bladder problem that refused to be identified by either CT scan or ultrasound, were administered. It's unclear when those tests produced reports, but not before I left. Within an hour of leaving, consuming lots of water and my usual pain medication made life reasonable again. Patient heal thyself? The problem resolved itself (diverticulitis?) I was lucky this time.
